Why Hire a Running Coach?
My job as your running coach is to provide you with a plan that will succeed. Training programs may be designed to purely improve fitness, or you may have a desire to get a new personal record (PR). Together, we can create a plan that takes your daily time constraints into consideration, including work schedules and family commitments. I want running to fit into your current life in a comfortable, enjoyable, fulfilling way! I look forward to getting to know you.
Private Running Coaching: Services/Rates
Option 1: Intensive Coaching
Service Includes:
55 min initial phone or in-studio consultation to discuss goals, running history, and long range plan
Weekly 25 min phone consult.
Unlimited email correspondence
Weekly training schedule, including daily training specifications and workouts
Rate: $199 per month with 3 month commitment
Payment due at the beginning of each month
Option 2: Basic Coaching
Service Includes:
30 min initial phone or in-studio consultation to discuss goals, running history and long range plan
Bi-weekly phone consults
Weekly email correspondence
Monthly training schedule with weekly training specifications and workouts
Rate: $150 a month with 3 month commitment
Payment due at the beginning of each month
Option 3: One Time Coaching:
Service Includes: 55 min consultation with no further commitment.
Rate: $75. Payment due at the time of service.

Monthly Running Package
Service Includes:
This monthly running package will include weekly accountability with your running coach. You will be able to update your specific training program if needed. $99 is a per month fee that will be billed each month at the beginning of your program.
Your coach will monitor and write your specific program
Customized weekly workout schedules provided to you on regular basis as well as estimated annual training plans and periodization based on your priority races
Phone calls as needed

Consultation on race strategy, race debriefing, nutrition, etc
Gold Running Training Package
Service Includes:
30 minute personal jump-start session. Specific Race Training schedule. Coach will answer your specific questions, explain your workouts, and discuss our philosophy so you know why your plan looks the way it does, and help you set and achieve specific goals for your race.

You will receive weekly accountability and coaching for 12 weeks. Your coach will guide you and make any adjustments during your training program.

Running Coach
Meet our Running Coach, Lisa Patton. Here's a little bit about Lisa!
Like many of you, I am a busy wife and mother with a desire to remain healthy spiritually, emotionally, and physically. For me, strength training, running, and accountability play vital roles in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
I grew up competing on the high school and college level in basketball, track, and cross country. After graduating, I coached varsity basketball and cross-country. I also led group fitness classes in Augusta, GA. I love encouraging others to reach their fitness goals. After our move to Atlanta, I devoted my time to my growing family of 4 children and began homeschooling. During this time I also grew my knowledge as a runner. I began racing and running with several groups in Atlanta.
Soon after our move to Athens, I began working one on one with other women helping them meet their running and fitness goals. I earned my level 1 Healthy Running Coach Certificate as well as completingmy Personal Trainer Certification. I currently write personalized training plans and encourage others to meet their running and fitness goals. I also work one on one and in group settings at TransFit Athens discussing running fundamentals and specific strength training for healthy and successful running.
